Mark 9:30-37 has Jesus and the disciples passing through Galilee. The disciples argue amongst themselves about who is the greatest and Jesus reveals more about what Kingdom hospitality looks like through an unexpected source.

In just a few short verses, Mark 9:38-41 is packed with so much more than meets the eye.

At first glance, Mark 9:42-50 feels intense and a little over the top. But what does it all mean?

Mark 10:1-12 can cause us to ask all sorts of questions or send us into a spiral of shame and guilt but what is it really trying to say?

Mark 10:13-16 pushes on the cultural norms for that day - the norms that have children as some of the lowest members of a society. Once again, Jesus turns things upside down when he says to become like one of the children.

After a short hiatus to talk about our mission & vision, we're back in the book of Mark and looking at Mark 10:17-31.

Today we're looking at Mark 10:32-45 and a somewhat ridiculous request put forward by some of the disciples. {Due to a problem with the livestream only the second half of the Sunday gathering is included in this video.}

Today we pop into Mark 10:46-52 and look at the encounter between Jesus and a blind man named Bartimaeus. {Due to an issue with our livestream we only have part of the Sunday gathering available.}

Today we pop into Mark 11 as Jesus enters Jerusalem on a donkey of all things. The King is coming....but not in the way anyone would expect.

Using Mark 11:12-25 we'll see how Jesus comes as both a lion and a lamb, and why we need both.

In Mark 11:27-33 the authority of Jesus is again challenged by those looking for a way trap Jesus in His words.
